Associate Artist Studios

Situated on the second floor of Maker House, our facility features seven semi-private studios designed to provide a quiet, spacious, and productive environment. Each studio comes equipped with customizable workstations, ample natural light, generous storage, heating and air conditioning, and WiFi. Additionally, your studio rental includes a full membership to Maker House, granting you access to all its amenities and resources.

Highlights 

  • Spaces range from 67 square feet to 109 square feet. 

  • Associate Artist studios are for single use only to maintain a quiet and productive environment. 

  • The studios are designated solely for work; live/work spaces are not provided.

  • Associate Artists have access to their space during our regular operating hours. 

  • Three-month sign-up commitment that moves to month to month after the initial three months 

  • Includes unlimited firings within reason. Large quantities or oversized work will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Associate artists also have the option to purchase a private firing at a 50% discount 

  • Opportunites to exhibit work in the gallery

  • Access to our photography equipment

  • AC and Heating included

  • WiFi included 

  • Private storage and personal lockers are provided

  • Free on-site parking (rear of the building) 

  • Library access, day use of kitchen and patio 

  • Access to all common area amenities - bathrooms, kitchen, WiFi, security cameras

  • Weekly common area cleanings 

  • Associate Artists are responsible for thoroughly cleaning their personal spaces and shared work areas; Maker House staff will not be responsible for cleaning the Associate Artists' personal space.

  • Clay must be purchased from Maker House 

  • Hazardous materials and processes are strictly prohibited

  • Pets are not allowed 

  • Prices range from $750 to $1,000 per month. (includes monthly membership benefits) 

Associate Artists (and all members of Maker House) must be aware of other artists' health and safety, maintain a hospitable working environment, and respect the facility's upkeep. This includes, but is not limited to, noise pollution, the use of toxic materials, the use and proper disposal of studio waste, and keeping common areas clean.
